As standard our dedicated servers are placed directly on the internet on a WAN IP address, an optional software firewall can be configured and installed and this is suitable for most customers. We do however provide the option of dedicated Cisco hardware firewalls starting from just $40/mon. Firewalls can be supplied as semi-managed or fully managed and customers have the option of hosting multiple servers behind each firewall at no additional cost.

ASA 5505 - Semi-Managed

The Cisco ASA 5505 supports up to ten hosts behind the firewall and up to 10 VPN session terminations. The device has a maximum throughput of 150Mb/s and we are able to provide upgrades to unlimited VPN users or hosts. With our semi-managed service we take care of the initial firewall setup for you and you then have full SSH/web interface access to add any additional rules that you may require.

ASA 5512 - Semi-Managed

The Cisco ASA 5512-X supports up to 250 hosts behind the firewall and up to 250 VPN session terminations. The device has a maximum throughput of up to 1Gb/s and we are able to provide upgrades to unlimited VPN users or hosts. You may choose to have additional servers hosted behind the firewall at a later date at no additional cost.

The Cisco ASA 5512-X supports upto 250 hosts and 250 VPN sessions with a maximum throughput of 1Gb/s. With our managed service after consultation with you we carry out the initial firewall setup and ongoing management of the device including nightly backups of the device configuration as well as monitoring of uptime and performance analysis of the device. We are also able to provide a pair of firewalls in active-active or active-passive failover if required. You may choose to have additional servers hosted behind the firewall at a later date at no additional cost.
